Dillman’s Creative Arts Foundation and their Mid Winter Festival of Artists,
promoting my workshop this fall at Dillmans.

"After working with oil for a number of years, Andrea began focusing on watercolor while
studying with David R. Becker at the Palette & Chisel Academy of Fine Arts, in Chicago,
and taking workshops with nationally known artists. "David was a marvelous teacher who
gave me a lot of information and treated watercolor as a serious medium for professional
artists, "Vincent remembers. "He also lead me to understand that the medium is all about
fluid simplicity; that is, watercolors are created with simple materials and direct procedures
but open up thousands of possibilities of pigment combinations and styles of expression.
Controlling the paints can be thrilling. I let watercolor flow with some control over the results."
